ABSTRACT

The article presents data on the analysis of a gradual or sudden loss of performance of seals under the influence of various factors during operation. Numerous factors significantly reduce the performance of seals and impair the sealing effect. Considering that the seal is a highly elastic material due to its elastomeric nature, the mechanical stress created in the sealed assembly will change over time. In other words, when a force is applied, the balance of the rubber seal changes. When determining the durability of seals, it is necessary to take into account the temperature, time and activity of the medium being sealed, which are operational factors.

Keywords: sealant, design, elastic material, relaxation, durability.

ABSTRACT

Determining the maximum depth and diameter of oil and gas wells before they are drilled, preventing open fountains, etc. definition of initial stresses in rocks is of great theoretical and practical importance. Since the rocks are porous, the relationship between stresses and deformations is non-linear. In the considered work, initial stresses in non-linear elastic rocks have been determined taking into account linearity and porosity. The possibility of applying the Morris-Levy theorem to the generalized quasi-plane deformation state for linear elastic bodies has been shown.

Keywords: initial stresses, rock, linear elastic body, gravity, Young's modulus, incompressible ideal fluid, porous rock.

ABSTRACT

In the presented article, cases of reduction of pump productivity as a result of reverse seepage of liquid from annular partitions in the plunger cylinder pair of rod well pumps are considered, and the existence of various methods to prevent this reverse seepage is shown. Mathematical expressions were obtained to minimize energy losses by analytical method, and on the basis of this, the optimal design option of pumps was proposed.

ABSTRACT

Spherical shells are used in many areas of industry. Spherical shells are widely used in the construction of various facilities (workshops, testing laboratories, tanks, etc.). They are also used in aircraft construction, ship structures, etc. Also, the results of studies of spherical shells can be used in the equation of vibrations, including radial vibrations, in the liners of spherical bearings. And also in the study of conical shells including free vibrations in the definitions of the action of tangential inertial forces, the use of the Ritz method.

Keywords: Shell vibrations, free and forced vibrations, orthogonal coordinate system, equations of momentless theory, Lame parameters, tangential inertial forces, Kirchhoff-Love assumptions, nonlinear vibrations, radial vibrations.

ABSTRACT

There was investigated in the article effectiveness of a new method of the innovative technology for extracting of oil with gas containing and under certain circumstances the propane-butane-containing hydrocarbons from bituminous sands. According to the survey results, after soaking with a given inhibitor to the process of taking bituminous sands by method of  career, production of liquid gas gives a more efficient hydrocarbon extraction rate rises.

Keywords: bituminous sands, gaseous hydrocarbons, polymer, propane-butane gas, temperature, inhibitor.

ABSTRACT

The article is devoted to the choice of material for the sealing element of the gate assembly of gate valves. Two new composite materials have been proposed as a material for the sealing element of the valves. Where the following are selected as the matrix: butadiene-nitrile rubber of the brand SKN-26 and fluoroplast of the brand FT4. It is shown that both composite materials can be used to manufacture sealing elements for high-pressure valves. At the same time, samples from the composition with a fluoroplast matrix show the best resistance to chemical influences. It was also found that the factor of nanoparticles in the composite material contributes to the formation of a stable structure with increased physical and mechanical characteristics.

Keywords: gate valve, sealing element, gate, synthetic butadiene-nitrile rubber mixture, composite material.
