Annotation. The hydrodynamic method for calculating mass transfer systems of technological installations is given. To this end, the vector equation of motion of the fluid flow of variable mass is transformed into a one-dimensional form. A mathematical model of the one-dimensional flow of ideal and real liquids in mass transfer devices has been developed. Taking into account the different zones of resistance and flow regimes, a generalized formula for calculating mass transfer systems is obtained from the differential equation of a one-dimensional flow with continuous flow rate distribution. Comparison of calculated and experimental data shows their adequacy.

Abstract: The methods of strengthening the working surface of plungers of submersible sucker-rod deep pumps are considered in work. According to the conducted research, it was established that the cuff method and the method of cold ironing is an alternative option for gas-flame spraying and it reduces labor-intensiveness and material consumption by increasing the wear resistance of plungers of submersible sucker-rod deep-well pumps. The plunger of the submersible sucker rod pumps, were tested under production conditions and it was found that their working capacity is averagely two times greater than that of the pumps sprayed by the flame method.

Keyword: Key words: sucker rod pumps, hardening, wear resistance, cuff plunger, cold ironing, chrome plating, flame spraying.
