The service life and reliability of metal pipelines is determined by the degree of their protection against corrosion. That is why the overwhelming majority of accidents occur on main gas pipelines. These complications also cause economic and environmental problems, seriously affect the resources of gas pipelines and equipment, the frequency of repair and restoration work, environmental pollution, etc. The article is devoted to the development of basic recommendations for engineers and technicians working in the field of corrosion protection of gas pipelines.

Keywords: main gas pipelines, service life, corrosion process, protection measures.

The article considers solar energy as a field of alternative energy, based on the direct use of sunlight for energy production to a certain extent. Solar energy uses a renewable energy source that is environmentally friendly and does not produce harmful waste. The sun conforms to the concept of energy production, distributed by generating energy through electric panels. This article discusses the benefits of using community-based solar energy equipment instead of traditional energy instead of traditional energy.

Keywords: solar energy, renewable energy, energy, ecology, environmental issues, climate, environment.

Abstrakt.  The development of the main branches of modern mechanical engineering imposes on the structural and tool materials used a growing level of requirements in terms of high static and dynamic strength, resistance to brittle fracture, wear and corrosion resistance in various operating conditions. The level of these properties to a large extent ensures the reliability of parts, assemblies, working bodies of machines, mechanisms, tooling and equipment. The article discusses the effect of chemical composition on the non-edible durability of parts made from hunting steel

Keywords: wear resistance, chemical composition, impact strength, abrasive, alloying, powder, porosity
