 Аbstract

Increasing the resource and reducing the cost of oilfield equipment is one of the priority areas of the modern oil engineering industry. It is known from mining experience that more than 50% of valves are subject to intensive repairs due to corrosion and wear of the surface of the shields. The article presents the results of technological measures used to increase the corrosion resistance of the working surface of the shutter shield with the use of chromium-molybdenum steel.

It was found that with the help of the applied technology, the friction resistance of the shields increases by 1.2-1.3 times compared to its analogue and the coefficient of friction decreases by 10-15%.

Keywords: high pressure valve, shield, chromium-molybdenum steel, hardness, friction.
